SYNOPSISCape Heartache is the lone American contribution to Philip Sava’s wildly popular series of exploration novels. It is based loosely on an expedition he made to the Pacific Northwest as a teenager in 1881 and is generally regarded as the most candid of his works. Revolving around a homestead he built in a coastal grove of old growth trees, the novel documents his romance with a young woman who was a descendent of the Nehalem Tribe. Its themes of leaving the familiar and finding comfort and solace in a new place still resonate today.

Stella ★★★★★

The scent nails that moody, rainy-night vibe perfectly—I used it before heading out and felt like I was wearing a mood, not just soap. It’s also surprisingly creamy for a bar, lathering up enough for a full-body wash without feeling dry afterward. Definitely my go-to for any spontaneous adventure no

The bar holds its shape well and lathers up nicely, even after sitting in a wet dish for a few days. I picked it specifically for my solo rainy-night walks and it delivers that mood perfectly.

Richard ★★★★★

That smoky, rainy-night vibe hits right the second you open the wrapper, and it lingers on my skin for hours without fading. The bar itself lathers up thick enough for a proper shower ritual, and honestly, wearing it alone at my kitchen counter on a dreary evening feels like the adventure it promise
